I apologize for not posting as much lately. Between Bear’s and Bae’s birthdays, preparing for Thanksgiving, drinking tons of water, slathering coconut oil on myself, remember to not eat red meat, stay in contact with friends on various social medias, calling my parents, checking in with siblings, and meditating…a sista is TIED.
Yes, TIED. I’m so tired, I can’t even pronounce the last syllable.
Anyway, faux first-world complaining aside, let’s talk about a potential Thanksgiving dish you could use for this Thanksgiving. Now, the original dish is made using beef and pork, however, I think this would be just as tasty with soy chorizo for you vegans and vegetarians out there.
This is a traditional Ukrainian dish and believe it or not, this was the first time Maks and I made it! It was so delicious and I hope to make it again.
Link to the recipe is here.
I will warn you – making this recipe did take some time. I believe from start to finish, it was around 1 1/2 to 2 hours prep and cook time. So be patient but it is so worth the wait!
